Demand for DN 600 valves is increasing
ARCA Regler has extended its unit construction system for valves to cover sizes up to DN 600 in size, that are now also available in cast design. The valves are operating as anti-surge control valves for huge turbo compressors. They are used for starting and stopping the compressor in a controlled manner and to protect it in case of breakdown.
The DN 600 cast valves are available in pressure classes DIN / EN DN600 PN 16 / 25 / 40, plus DN 24" ANSI 150 und ANSI 300. Materials are GP240GH / A216-WCB-216 or 1.4581 / A351-CF8M as standard, with special materials on request.
DN 600 valves are used in wastewater plants, steelworks, refineries and chemical plants. The need for valves of these dimensions is increasing rapidly. ARCA already has more orders in the pipeline that are being delivered beginning of next year.
Producing and installing valves this large requires a good deal of expertise, from which ARCA can draw on help from fellow group member FELUWA Pumpen GmbH, because Feluwa already has a broad expertise in producing huge pumps and gear bodies.
