Seminar “Technology and Design of Control Valves”
In our training courses, participants learn the latest user-specific findings on regulation and control, combined with practice-oriented experience and tips for the design and calculation of control valves.
The basics of dimensioning and selection of control valves will be presented in the seminar. With our exhibits, we provide direct insights into all details of control technology. At the end of the event, the participants will be able to configure and specify valves or to check designs on their own using our ARCAVENA design tool. The goal of this training course is a well-founded and reliable understanding of the valve.
Target group:
The seminar is aimed at technicians and engineers, operators, buyers or plant manufacturers who come into contact with control valves.
Seminar contents:
- Tour of the factory and guided tour through production and project planning
- Control valve variants on the market
- Structure of the control valves based on our exhibits
- Explanations of the positioner and accessories for a control valve
- Calculation of Kv values
- Determination of the nominal size of valves and pipelines
- Determination and selection of the materials and nominal pressure level
- Calculation of the actuator size
- Explanation of critical operating cases
- Introduction to our ARCAVENA calculation program
